Community Outreach: ISAA at 4 Major 2026 Festivals

This spring and summer, ISAA will be participating in four major community festivals across New England as part of our outreach and student support initiatives. You can find us at the Haitian American Business Expo (Boston), Celebrate! West Hartford, New Haven Caribbean Festival, and the Black Wall Street Festival. These events give us the opportunity to connect directly with families, students, educators, and supporters while sharing our mission and expanding access to educational resources.

Through these events and upcoming volunteer recruitment opportunities, our goal is to connect with hundreds of community members, recruit new volunteers, welcome additional board support, and raise funds to expand scholarships and literacy initiatives for students in Haiti.

Current Events: Why Community Outreach Matters Right Now

Access to education in Haiti continues to be affected by ongoing security challenges that have disrupted transportation routes and school operations in several regions. Many families are facing increased barriers to consistent learning, making community-supported programs like ISAA’s scholarship and literacy initiatives even more important.

By expanding our presence at community festivals this year, we are working to strengthen partnerships, grow our volunteer network, and ensure continued educational support for the students we serve.

Get Involved: Volunteer With Us

We’re gearing up for exciting events and initiatives this year—and we need volunteers! Whether you’re a student, parent, or community member, there’s a role for you. We sign off on community service hours for volunteers.
