Haiti Textbook Initiative

Access to textbooks should never be a barrier to learning. Through the Haiti Textbook Initiative, ISAA partnered with the Haitian Education Initiative (HEI) and Paquette Elementary and Middle Schools in the rural mountains above Jacmel to provide much-needed learning materials. With the help of generous donors, ISAA purchased and distributed 50 locally sourced textbooks, giving students the tools they need to build literacy and pass national exams.
This initiative not only supports academic achievement but also strengthens schools serving underserved rural communities — one book, one student at a time.
